  • The 5km course is two laps of a 2.5km loop around Battersea Park.
  • Follow marshal instructions, especially near the Bandstand, where it gets tight.
  • Move away from the finish line quickly after your run to keep it clear for other waves.

Logistics

Getting there, dropping bags.

How to get there

Battersea Park, Bowling Green, London. Battersea Park and Queenstown Road rail stations are both a short walk away. Cycle racks and Santander docking nearby. If driving, plan ahead, as parking is limited.

What to bring & wear

  • Water: bring a refillable bottle.
  • Shoes: comfy running shoes are a must.
  • Clothes: weather-appropriate, breathable gear.
  • Bib: it's the only way we can time you.

Bag drop

Located at the Bowling Green. Please pack light — bag space is very limited, and it's strictly one bag per person.

Race bibs & safety

  • Your bib is your ID and your timer, so do not forget it.
  • Pin it to the front of your shirt.
  • Fill in the emergency info on the back. This is required.
  • No bib? Collect one at the Bowling Green on the day. Expect queues, so come early.

Quick answers

Arrival is from 6:00pm. Make sure you have enough time to stretch and get ready before your allocated start time.
Yes, come rain or shine, the event will go ahead. If extreme weather occurs on race day, we'll alert participants of plans as soon as possible.
Due to the scale of the event, unfortunately not.
You'll receive your bib a couple of weeks in advance via post.
Don't worry. Anyone who signed up in the last couple of weeks can collect their bib at the timing desk in the Bowling Green. Do factor in extra time for this before your race.
There's a small bag drop in the Bowling Green, but we expect it to be very busy. Please avoid bringing bags if possible, or bring a spectator to watch them.
There are water stations in the park and plenty of drinks from our vendors. We still strongly advise bringing your own water too.
Yes, we'll have amazing food and drink vendors on site to fuel everyone, whether you run or not. Come hungry.
Soon after you cross the line you'll receive them via text, and the night's headline results will appear on this page.
If you're early, enjoy the hospitality until your run time. If you're late (kindly don't be), speak to someone from Jumpstart and we'll sort it out.
Yes. Every runner must fill in their individual ticket details or we can't allocate a race pack, timing chip or start time. Add your runners' details here, or email js5k@jumpstart-uk.com.
